Moving Right Along

Time to bump that picture down the page, don't you think?

Tonight I went to my 4th theatre film in 11 years. The others were H2G2 (you know how I feel about all things Adams), SWIII (you know how I feel about all things Star Wars), and X-Men 3(This was a whim for baby-sitter-testing-out purposes. ~d I know I told you this would be my 3rd, but I'd forgoten about X-men 3. Which I really enjoyed apart from the fact that Huge Ackman somehow managed to lose his shirt, shred his pants and STILL not show anything vital.) You all will know that a slot of this prestige could only go to James.

And you know, as much as I would love to gush and rave about this film, I fear it would be off-putting were I to do so. So this is what I have to say.

Best. Bond. Ever.

And that is all.

Oh, and I saw Grant*, which I really got a kick out of.

*An extra whose account I had followed online

My parents are Bond fans. I grew up knowing about James Bond; my first Bond theatre experience was 'View to a Kill'. When I went to university, I met Mad Murray. Who has read all the books. Who will argue with you about who technically is the most realistic Bond.
I really have to check out Casino Royale. Something tells me Daniel Craig is not your mother's David Niven.

I'll be interested to hear what your parents think of it if they see it.

Craig was everything I'd hoped for (judging by his previous work) and more. There was a fair amount of comedy, too. Nothing over-the-top; just some very well-played witty moments that got the whole crowd going. The script was very much to my liking; the fight scenes were gritty and believable (esp now that I have first-hand knowledge of what it's like to hit and kick people, LOL!) and. . . and here I go gushing, so I'll stop.

And you said you wouldn't gush and rave!!! I will have to check it out. I'm just so glad that Puss Brosnan is gone...ew. I couldn't watch any of his stuff...he ranks right down there with Tom Cruise, Matthew Mc, and a few others...

Okay, Candace, and you need to write me, please...Tom is saying aikido is a good place to start...

Hope you are well! xoxoxo

Oh ack! Matthew McC. Blech, blech, ack, arf, ptooey!

I actually didn't mind Brosnan, but the scripts were very limiting.

Oh! I'll go write you now. Sorry! Hope you and the littles are doing better.

I heard about the Egan thing through the grapevine, and then someone sent me the YouTube. Heh. Everything's on YouTube. Everything.

As far as meeting him, he's never seen me in person, but you may recall that I'm stalking him, so. . .

PS poor Tom. :(

I'll be checking Bond out next week C.

Well done for not spilling the beans. Keeping them under your hat, as it were...

Winters, it rocks! MuNKi loved it, too. Yes, I shall endeavour to keep it all under the hood of my Red Wings sweatshirt.

Dude, you should enter Cindra's word game next time, even if it does mean I get a good ass-kicking by yet another writer. :)

I'll check it out, C. Thanks for the heads up.

And by the way, you would kick my ass any day of the week. Wearing a blindfold with your hands tied behind your back.

Never! But it does sound like fun. Wait a minute. You WERE reading there, weren't you? ^_^

What's this video you're talking about Candace? Are you and Cindra spreading lies again?

C said...

What do you mean "again"?

egan said...

You know exactly what I mean Tall Chick.

Hmmm, you don't recall? I will have to post the YouTube. . . }:-)
