Filler

The kids are on the computer I need to use for uploading my latest pics, so you get this in the meantime. I love this song. It's kinda quiet in this version, so you might have to crank it. Can't believe I didn't think to look for it on YouTube until now.

I really need to finish the latest in the Outlander series. I'm just so uninspired. Too much of the same thing, I think -- I just want to move on to the next book already. :-P I guess that means I'm probably about to hit another fascinating part. That usually happens in these books right about the time I get fed up with them. Here's hoping.

I have never heard that song before. Although my kids kept pressing buttons while I tried to put up a post today. Perhaps I should get them a computer. Although since they are about to be 5, perhaps I should just give them a keyboard and put that in front of the TV ;-)

I had never heard this song before either and I love it! I like the monkey in it, too. Even though I don't know what they are saying...it's good stuff.

I can't get into my latest book (The Thirteenth Tale)...I think I might need to set it aside and try something else. I hate it when books don't grab me right from the start.

Michael - I'd never heard it til about a yr ago. I love it! Ha! I can totally sympathise with the bittons-pushing. ^_^ OMG 2 almost-five-year-olds. You command my total respect. I totally cracked up over the keyboard TV thing. I wonder how long that would work. ^_^

Amanda - It's kind of a weird vid, IMO, but I do love the song. If you do French at all, the lyrics are here. If not, the translation is here. in the description, after the French. (I think the French is easier to read in the first link though.) But it will never be as beautiful in English as it is in French. :)

Yeah, I hate book blandness, too. :-P

It worked for less than 2 mins, btw. Which is 30 seconds less than when I gave them a broken remote control and timed my pressing of the buttons on the real remote with when they pressed the buttons on the broken one...

ROTFLOL!

Hey, imagine if you gave them Play-Doh AND a keyboard. They'd be quiet for a long time as they carefully spackled all the nooks and crannies,I'll bet. ^_^

Oooh, hold on. The race starts in a little while and that is one GREAT idea. I think I have a few old cellphones I can add to the mix as well!!!

Perfect! Maybe some red Kool-Aid to round things out? ^_^
